Premiere Dance Center’s Company
Premiere Dance Center is proud to offer two Competitive Company opportunities for experienced dancers, Pre-Company and Company.
Pre-Company - Perfect for experienced dancers, ages 5-7, demonstrating near perfect attendance, strong work ethic, attention to detail, passion for Ballet, Tap & Jazz, and interest in competing. These dancers are selected by their teacher while in a Ballet-Tap-Jazz Combination class over the Summer. Pre-Company dancers begin dancing as a team in late-August and train together until the following August. Pre-Company dancers will attend one local competition, competing a Jazz & Tap routine, as well as perform in the annual Recital in May. Once a dancer reaches the age of 8, they are no longer eligible for Pre-Company and have the option to audition for Level 1 in the Company.
Company - Perfect for experienced dancers, ages 8-18, seeking more challenging training. With 6 levels of classes, Company dancers can train in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Technique, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Pointe, Turns & Progressions, Tumbling and Stretch & Strengthen. Company dancers begin dancing as a team in late-August, making a year long commitment. Dancers entering Level 1 should turn 8 before January 1 of the coming year. Auditions for PDC’s Company are held during the last week of Summer classes. All dancers auditioning for Premiere’s Company are required to attend ONE Summer Intensive at Premiere before their audition during the last week of Summer classes.
